They have told nothing but lies from the start so I have to agree with mzrealtalk 100% I even remember they used to tell us how many "testers" they had and that when they reached 100,000 "testers" we would start to get the money. I know I personally contributed 112 referrals. When they were supposedly close to the 100,000 they changed gears, stopped telling us how many people signed up, and kept changing when we would see money. They started "rolling out new features to test" and left the whole money thing on the back burner. Now think about this, if they are real and starting out then how will they afford to "pay" hundreds of thousands of people? Hell there have even been people scamming people out of the fake currency saying they will trade real money from paypal for the fake bullshit from virtapay, then when the virtapay funds were transferred they never got the paypal money...

My balance is over $11,000 and like mzrealtalk I don't think I will ever see it. If you still think they are for real then I have an ocean front property for you to purchase in Missouri, and a hot, sunny, beach front property in alaska... How far did you fall from the stupid tree again?

They debuted as paybox in Sept. 2010, I signed up October 2010. They said they would start releasing money by the summer of 2011, its now going into spring of 2012 and all I see is ooh buy this buy that, be an affiliate blah blah blah. They haven't even updated the blog since December 2011 and here it is nearly the end of March 2012. My balance is currently over $8500 (it would be more but I stopped logging in daily wasting my time) but I doubt I will ever see a cent. They have been claiming we will be able to transfer funds to our real bank accounts way too long now for me not to think it's a scam. They had us design and choose a debit card for PAYBOX and right before deciding on a design from the votes, they changed to virtapay and we never heard anything else about a debit card. All the crap they let you "buy" with virtapay funds are scams and useless crap!
The website claims that they will have full customer support in early 2012? DOUBTFUL as it hasn't happened yet like all the rest of the broken promises and lies so good luck with that letter gamemonarchist...

Paypal i can use any where, i even have a credit card thru them where is Virtapays??? i can buy real item and have it sent to my friends and family and even myself, with virtapay, you get crap, that people online warn you about getting involved with its digital crap an you know it,lol, for real, paybox said cash and took us thru the whole choose a location to use your debt card, and still nothing, its a scam, a big one! i have 1500, sitting in that account an can't use it. but apaypal, i can go down the street and buy groceries or a laptop online. stop comparing them they are not the same. one gives what it promises, while the other is the worse scammers online.

Don't trust this guy...
Firstly you install software, it does give you popups, yes it can be uninstalled and no you should definitly not install this software on your work computer. If it does eventually turn out to be a scam you could compromise your own business and potentially your entire financial future.
The only thing he mentioned that is true is that the referral money comes from the company that owns the software not the referred persons account.
I signed up only last night, I don't know for sure wether or not it is a scam yet
